HIV/TB Global Leaders' Forum

(United Nations Headquarters, New York, 9 June 2008)

The purpose of this forum was to speed up actions to face the epidemic of both these diseases, which causes the deaths of a quarter million people each year. The forum ended with a Call to Action to drastically reduce the number of deaths associated with TB/HIV coinfection.
