Goal: This second STEPS training activity was aimed at implementing the STEPwise Approach to Chronic Noncommunicable Disease Risk-Factor Surveillance in the Caribbean. It follows up on the first workshop held in May in the Dominican Republic.

Purpose of the Training

Expected Result: For the countries to plan their first population survey on the surveillance of chronic diseases and their risk factors, to be carried out in 2007.

Participating Countries: Barbados, Curacao, St. Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad and Tabago, Turks and Caicos Islands.
