The Caribbean Schools' Food and Nutrition Quiz Competition is organized annually among secondary schools in the region, with a view to promoting nutrition and healthy lifestyles among students, and assisting them with their preparation for national and regional examinations in food and nutrition.

The competition is staged using the teleconference facilities of the University of the West Indies Distance Education Centre (UWIDEC) in each CFNI member country.

The Caribbean Nutrition Promotion annual competition is an important promotion tool by CFNI to provide visibility to exemplary projects or programs aimed at improving food and nutrition in the region.
