This issue of Cajanus provides some highlights for the importance of nutrition in the management of PLWHAs. The role of nutrition as a key factor in the management of PLWHAs has been identified internationally and has been shown to be important in the treatement, care and improvement of clinical outcomes. Nutrition is an affordable and cost-effective way of improving clinical outcomes and the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS.
