February 24, 2010.- World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Directors for Africa (AFRO) and for the Americas (AMRO) met to discuss areas of collaboration between the two regional WHO offices. In recent years, PAHO and AFRO have worked together in important areas which include health systems strengthening, human resources for health, and vaccine-preventable diseases.
