Activities in the countries

Trinidad and Tobago

These are some of the activities planned by Trinidad and Tobago for the Vaccination Week in the Americas:

• Walk in immunization services at all health centers (104)
• Special outreach immunization activities in areas with low coverage at health county level
• Health education related activities: lectures, talks on radio shows on the importance and benefits of immunization
• Emphasis is placed on enhancing activities related to: 3rd dose polio, Pentavalent, MMR and Yellow Fever
• Launching of National EPI Manual on the 21st April
• Participation in National TV Talk Programme re EPI by the Ministry and PAHO
