World No Tobacco Day 2002

The Office of Public Information of the Pan American Health Organization has produced a series of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) in honor of World No Tobacco Day 2002. World No Tobacco Day is celebrated annually on May 31st.
You can watch the PSAs using the free Real Player, and if you're a broadcaster, you can obtain a copy in tape. These messages don't mention any specific date, so they can be used throughout the year.

"TOBACCO FREE SPORTS" - This PSA enlightens the public on the concept that sports and tobacco should NOT fit together, as is communicated through advertisements and sponsorships.

"TOBACCO AND SPORTS DON'T MIX" - Johann Cruyff (Soccer Player from Holland), speaks about his heart attack due to smoking and the importance of quitting.

There is still another Public Service Announcement available, produced by PAHO's Office of Public Information and the World No Tobacco Day Coalition, featuring firefighters from around the United States speaking about the importance of support for people who decide to quit tobacco.
