Core Health Data

Through the Regional Core Health Data system , PAHO participates in another essential aspect of the MDGs, their monitoring, by collecting, centralizing, and distributing health and socioeconomic data on the countries and territories of the Region.

The Core Health Data system consists of a basic set of data collected annually that make it possible to characterize the health situation and trends in the countries of the Region of the Americas . These have been collected by PAHO since 1995.
