En una se ubican los países desarrollados, cuyos investigadores publican sus estudios en prestigiosas revistas de circulación mundial; en la otra, los países con escasez de recursos, donde los investigadores raras veces logran publicar sus estudios en revistas conocidas más allá de las fronteras nacionales.
