In November of last year (2011), Manuel Calvit and Harold Ruiz, from our Knowledge Management and Communications team, travelled to the Dominican Republic to some border communities with Haiti, to document audio visuals of our Faces, Voices and Places Initiative .  This documentary, available in Spanish, is a concrete example of the tireless work of the technical and support staff in PAHO’s country offices, and its tremendous impact on improving the quality of life of the people in need.  We share with you this video that reflects the noble mission of our organization “…promote equity in health, combat disease and improve the quality of life of the peoples of the Americas.”
