Masters Degree in Mental Health, National University of Córdoba, Argentina

The second year of the Masters Degree in Mental Health of the National University of Córdoba officially started in May. It is organized by the Faculty of Psychology and the Faculty of Medical Sciences, with the collaboration of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO - WHO), and is sponsored by the Organization of Iberoamerican States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) and the Psychologists’ Association of Córdoba.

The program´s contents have been structured along the lines of the Strategy and plan of action on mental health, approved by PAHO\WHO 49th Directing Council in 2009. It also falls within the requirements of the National Mental Health Law, No. 26,667, enacted on December 3 2010.

The teaching staff consists of professionals and researchers from the Faculties of Psychology and Medical Sciences of the National University of Cordoba, PAHO/WHO consultants on Mental Health, as well as national and international guest lecturers. The course modality includes a three-day face-to-face session and research activities. It has a duration of 24 months. Students are granted a Masters Degree in Mental Health.
