More than 2,000 families in the municipality of Azurduy, in Chuquisaca, have suffered losses in crop production, due to torrential rains and hailstorms during the month of January. (m.: ELPAIS).

Guatemala 1/27/2015

Low temperatures. The departments of Sacatepéquez, Quetzaltenango and Guatemala have sheltered nearly 2,500 people thus far in 2015 to protect them from the low temperatures. The National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED) has set up 14 shelters throughout the country. (m:.Publinews).
