Ash Emissions Continue from the Tungurahua Volcano in Ecuador

nullIn the last few day the outside activity of the Tungurahua volcano has decreased in height, frequency, quantity of ash emissions, and number of explosions. However, the volcano continues to show signs of internal activity, so it should continue to be monitored, as this activity could result on a large-scale eruption. Health centers in the area continue functioning normally, and the local health authorities are monitoring the situation. Additional information from the National Service of Seismology and Volcanology.
