Dengue Outbreak in Paraguay - January 2007

On 15 January 2007, the Ministry of Health of Paraguay declared an epidemiological alert in the entire country due to cases of dengue, and the real possibility of an outbreak of hemorrhagic dengue. On 20 January 2007, the first two fatalities due to hemorrhagic dengue were reported. (More information in Spanish)
