Ophthalmology Workshops

The Ministry of Health Grenada in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organisation held two, one day Ophthalmology workshops on June 10 and 11, 2014 at the Grenada National Stadium. The objective of the workshop was to enhance health professionals’ skills, knowledge and competencies in the prevention and management of eye condition.

Fire Safety Training

Monday July 21, 2014 saw the commencement of three (3) ½ day workshops on Fire Safety sponsored by Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the Ministry of Health. Participants come from the Health Sector with each session accommodating 20-25 persons.

Consultation on Mental Health Policy for Grenada

Mental Health has been considered a priority for the Caribbean for many years, being included as one of the main priorities in the Caribbean Cooperation Strategy. However, many countries still lag behind, with systems that may not provide appropriate answer to the mental health needs of their populations.
