This meeting is being co-sponsored by PAHO, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, the Centers of Disease Prevention and Control (CDC), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), Management Sciences for Health/Rational Pharmaceutical Management Plus (MSH/RPM Plus), and the Ministry of Health (MS) of Brazil. It will be held held immediately before the XLIII Congress of the Brazilian Society of Tropical Medicine (SMBT) from 12–15 March and the International Symposium on Malaria on March 12, all meetings being held in the same place.

Meeting Objectives

  • To review the progress of the activities of RAVREDA/AMI during the last year.
  • To discuss the implementation of the tools promoted by RAVREDA/AMI in the health services.

Countries Attending the Meeting: RAVREDA Member Countries (Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, Venezuela) with a special invitation to French Guiana.
