The Global Plan to Stop TB, 2006–2015, will be launched on 27 January 2006 at a series of media events around the world featuring a number of high-profile individuals dedicated to a TB-free world.
The Global Plan is a comprehensive assessment of the action and resources needed to implement the Stop TB strategy, to make an impact on the global TB burden, and to reach the Stop TB Partnership's goals for 2015.
Visit the Global Plan website now in preparation for the launch to view information on upcoming events, information for the press, and background documents to the Global Plan. The Global Plan to Stop TB will be posted on the web site on the day of the launch.
Each partner of the Stop TB Partnership will be sent a copy of the Plan shortly after the launch. Copies of the Plan can be obtained from 27 January onwards by contacting the WHO Stop TB documentation center.
