Guidelines for International Breast Health and Cancer Control
PAHO is pleased to support the publication of theseGuidelines for International Breast Health and Cancer Control from the Breast Health Global Initiative, contained in the January-February 2006 edition of The Breast Journal. This effort culminates more than two years of revision by many dedicated health-care professionals and others around the world. These are the only comprehensive consensus guidelines specifically addressing issues surrounding the implementation of any complete set of control measures for a specific cancer type in limited-resource countries.

10 Key Findings and Recommendations for Effective Cervical Cancer Screening and Treatment Programs
This two-page ACCP Fact Sheet summarizes outline 10 key findings and recommendations for global policy and practice related to cervical cancer screening and treatment in low-resource settings. It is based on studies carried out in four countries all over the world, with PAHO's study the TATI project in Peru. PAHO is a member of the ACCP.
