The Red Andina de Prevención de Violencia (Andean Network for Violence Prevention), created by PAHO, is coordinated by the Institute for Research and Development of Violence Prevention and Promotion of Social Coexistence (CISALVA) of the University del Valle, Cali, Colombia. The institute has been designated as a PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center.
