The Caribbean Schools Food and Nutrition Quiz Competition is organized annually among secondary schools in the Region with a view to promoting nutrition and healthy lifestyles among students, and assisting them with their preparation for national and regional examinations in food and nutrition. The competition is staged using the teleconference facilities of the University of the West Indies Distance Education Centre (UWIDEC) in each CFNI member country.

The competition is targeted to Secondary School students in Grades 10 and 11 or Forms 4 and 5 in all CFNI member countries.
