Policy for Information Published via the Internet
The Internet is a fundamental tool for PAHO' s technical cooperation in the areas of research, human resource development, information dissemination, and advisory services. PAHO fully uses the Internet where feasible, including as a mechanism for making PAHO-acquired information resources broadly available to the public.
PAHO-originated materials are the responsibility of specific operating units, while information not originated by PAHO is the responsibility of the collaborating organizations. Specific contact information is provided with each item published on the PAHO web site.
Web design and presentation of the PAHO headquarters web site are the general responsibility of the PAHO Publications Program, which endeavors to apply new technologies and techniques and evolving standards and interfaces for indexing, displaying, and organizing multimedia resources.
Other PAHO offices publishing under the paho.org domain will follow this general policy, but will be responsible for their respective design and presentation.
PAHO is receptive to proposals to share PAHO information. Partnership arrangement proposals should be sent to webmaster@paho.org.
