A PAHO - Washington Wizards Partnership
A partnership between the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the Washington Wizards basketball team of the National Basketball Association (NBA) aims to utilize sports as a vehicle to disseminate and endorse health campaigns through "Healthy Environments for Children Awareness Game Nights" at the MCI Center.
The first "Healthy Environments for Children Awareness Game Night" is December 15, 2004, when the Washington Wizards will face the Miami Heat and its star Shaquille O'Neil.
