Observatories of Mexico become essential tools that allow to plan and improve human security

altCiudad Juárez, México, June 26, 2013 (PAHO) - The data and indicators of maternal mortality, mortality for external cause injuries and other risk factors are essential for the improvement of health systems, road safety, among others, and thus improve human security. These allow the policy makers and planners to have evidence based on proven methods and tools that allow the proper designation of resources and to set goals and objectives, as well as to assess whether these goals and objectives are being achieved.
