Binational Health Week 2012’s picture contest

El Paso, TX, June 25, 2012 (PAHO/WHO) – The Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) United States-Mexico Border Office  joins to promote the efforts of the General Consulate of Mexico’s Institute for Mexicans Abroad (IME, by it acronyms in Spanish) to  invite the artistic and creative community in the El Paso and New Mexico area to participate in the first contest of  "Binational Health Week 2012’s picture."

The objective is to choose an image that reflects Binational Health Week 2012, offering the opportunity for participants to engage creatively in activities relating to health promotion and in the same way to promote recognition of artistic talent among the members of communities of Hispanics in the United States.

People who can participate are Mexicans, people of Mexican descent and Hispanics who file in the U.S. and Canada and are interested in proposing an image representing Binational Health Week 2012. The winning work will be published and disseminated in various mediums.

The call will be open from June 1, 2012 to July 13 2012, work appropriately identified and comply with the requirements of this announcement must be submitted at the General Consulate of Mexico in El Paso. The winning work will be released on August 1, 2012 through representations in Mexico in the U.S. and Canada.
