Women Face Unique Challenges in Haiti

The providers of water and food to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti should remember that women—who need to take care of their families—may not have the time to stand in lines and fight to get the food. The warning comes from Marijke Velzeboer, a senior PAHO advisor, in an interview with U.N. Radio.
