Experts from the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Ministry of Culture and Communication in Haiti have released three new spots to be used in radio stations and mobile units throughout the areas most affected by the cholera outbreak.
A poster with the "Five keys to safer food" is available for dissemination in Haitian communities. There are two versions in French (one created in Africa) and one version in Creole. The poster imparts important information for cholera prevention.

The White Helmets Commission of the Argentinian Foreign Ministry met with the office of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) in Buenos Aires and the Panama regional office of the Organization to assess a possible humanitarian assistance to Haiti because of the cholera outbreak that affects that Caribbean nation.
The spots present a series of warnings about cholera, explaining in simple language how people can avoid contracting it. There are eight spots in the series, covering themes such as food safety and the handling of excrement and garbage.
