Moquegua managed to interrupt transmission of millenary Chagas disease in its regionThe Moquegua Region has achieved certification for the interruption of the vector-borne transmission of Chagas' disease. Yesterday, in a emotionally charged ceremony, a mission of experts from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), after more than one week of fieldwork, certified the fulfillment of the achievement of this objective.
