Severe respiratory Disease
From September 25th to November 28th, 2003 38 cases of a severe acute respiratory disease have been reported to the Colombian National Institute of Health (INS).
On 3 August 2003, the Ministry of Health of El Salvador reported a cumulative number of 56,847 cases of pneumonia and 312 deaths associated with pneumonia.
The Ministry of Health reported that in Epidemiological Week (EW) 30 (ending on 26 July) 6,315 cases of pneumonia were recorded, with a cumulative of 50,394 for this year.
