Implementing Patient Engagement Principles in Meaningful Use Stage 2 That Will Help Meet Meaningful Use Stage 3
One of the core components in the second phase of Meaningful Use regulations was the need to actively engage patients in their health. The use of health information technology is a mechanism for patients to view their medical information in order to become more educated and empowered consumers of health. The eHealth Initiative, in conjunction with Healthwise, one of the national leaders in patient engagement, will present a 90 minute webinar discussion how the principles of patient engagement in phase 2 of Meaningful Use, will help prepare providers to meet the upcoming challenges with stage 3.
The webinar will take place Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 2:00 - 3:30 PM EST.
