The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), in collaboration with the National AIDS Committee Jamaica, is seeking to engage the services of a Communications Specialist to spearhead the writing, design and production of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials in support of a blogging activity for people living with HIV/AIDS in Jamaica.


Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons with the following minimum requirements:

* At least 3 ?5 years experience in developing IEC materials relating to social/health issues that impact behaviour;

* A Diploma, or higher qualifications, in mass communication, marketing or related discipline;

* Training in communication, development of media materials, graphic design and conducting market/social research;

* A good working knowledge of HIV/AIDS and sexual health issues.
Candidates will also be required to produce samples of recent work.
