CALL FOR ABSTRACTS — 139th APHA Annual Meeting
(October 29 - November 2, 2011)
Theme: Healthy Communities Promote Healthy Minds & Bodies
NEW Submission Deadline: Wednesday, February 16, 2011
The Scientific Program Subcommittee of the APHA Latino Caucus invites students, educators, researchers, health professionals, and community members to submit their research, practice, and policy findings for dissemination at the annual conference.
The theme of the 2011 conference is "Healthy Communities Promote Healthy Minds and Bodies."
Please submit scientific papers that address issues affecting Latinos especially as they relate to the theme of the conference. However, other papers that address the Health of Latinos will be accepted. The abstracts (290 words max) will be organized into one of the following:

We strongly encourage students to submit their abstracts, and to indicate their student status in the appropriate checkbox. APHA values the ability to provide continuing education credit to physicians, nurses and health educators at its annual meeting. Please complete all required information when submitting an abstract so members can claim credit for attending your session. These credits are necessary for members to keep their licenses and credentials.
