Free HIV Testing for World AIDS Day

Print E-mail

In recognition of World AIDS Day, HHS will offer free, confidential, rapid HIV testing. HIV testing is the only reliable way to know your HIV status. Knowing your status early can help you protect yourself by seeking out appropriate treatment and helps you protect your partners from infection. All appointments are confidential and last approximately 20 minutes. The tests are painless, and require only an oral swab – no needles or blood involved! Testing is available on the following days: Wednesday, November 30 and Thursday, December 1, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Humphrey Building Health Clinic Second Floor, RM 215G & W.J. Cohen Building Health Unit 1165A.  9:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m. Both days (last appointment taken at 11:45 a.m.)

To schedule a confidential HIV test, please call: 202-205-0216.

  • You will not need to identify yourself when scheduling the appointment
  • The testing scheduler will confirm your appointment and give further instructions on what to do when you arrive for testing
  • Confidential appointments include pre-test and post-test counseling
