Based on consolidated forecasting requirements received from participating Member States and Institutions, the Pan American Health Organization, Regional Office of the World Health Organization (hereinafter PAHO or PAHO/WHO), extends an annual arrangement with selected suppliers that fulfill the requirements for the purchase of vaccines and syringes. It is understood that PAHO acts as a procurement agent, through these annual arrangements with the suppliers, on behalf of the Member States and Institutions, after the bidding process has been completed.
