Between July 11 and 15 in Suriname, the Infectious Hazard Management Unit of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) in collaboration with the PAHO Country Office in Suriname held a Workshop on Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE). This mission aimed to transmit the relevance of the RCCE for the preparation and response to public health emergencies, especially those that come from respiratory viruses, to provide the necessary tools for its development, as well as to evaluate the roadmap for its strengthening.
