The Mental Health Innovation Network (MHIN) co-organized an Innovation Fair as part of the Out of the Shadows: Making Mental Health a Global Development Priority two-day series of events on mental health, which were co-hosted by the World Bank Group and the World Health Organization (WHO) in Washington D.C., April 13-14. 
The purpose of the Innovation Fair was to demonstrate to world financial leaders that it is possible to deliver effective and affordable mental health care even in low-resource settings. Funded by the Wellcome Trust with contributions from Grand Challenges Canada and the US National Institute of Mental Health, the Fair showcased over 20 evidence-based innovations that are currently improving mental health.
