Conmemorating World Mental Health Day, a panel of experts analyzed the new challenges to promote universal and equitable access to quality mental health services. During the event, it was presented the new Plan of Action on Mental Health, approved by the 53rd Directing Council on 1st October, as well as the recent publication "Making Mental Health Count for Individuals and Populations Health". The program included the presentation of the Brain Initiative and the advocacy efforts of civil society to improve access to mental health services and eliminate discrimination against people with mental disorders.
