The Recommendations from a Pan American Health Organization Expert Consultation on the Marketing of Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages to Children in the Americas summarizes the work of an Expert Consultation on the Marketing of Food and Non-alcoholic Beverages to Children in the Americas, convened by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) on 12-13 May 2011 at PAHO Headquarters, Washington, DC, USA. The goal of this Expert Consultation was to formulate concrete policy recommendations to Member States based on the set of recommendations passed by the World Health Assembly in May 2010 (Resolution WHA63/14).
