Information on the health situation and the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in the Americas now has a new home. The Pan American Health Organization has launched a virtual directory of digital health, or eHealth, profiles that includes data and statistics from 47 countries and territories in the Americas.
The World Health Organization (WHO) and its regional office in the Americas (Pan American Health Organization) are pleased to share with you the operational preliminary version of the “Handbook for Electronic Health Records Implementation,” which is open to a public consultation until Friday, 21 July.
As part of the 2016 Telehealth Congress—Region of the Americas at the Bicentenario Convention Center, in the city of Durango, state of Durango, Mexico, a roundtable was held, coordinated by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). The roundtable included civil servants from Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. Participants agreed their countries would carry out a joint project, coordinated by PAHO.
This is an invitation to contribute your voice into the development of World Health Organization Guidelines on the use of digital tools for reproductive, maternal, child, and adolescent health outcomes. Please note that we ask that you submit your responses to this first iteration of feedback by Monday, 26 September 2016. This survey will take approximately 30 minutes, and your inputs will provide valuable insights in shaping the development of this critical resource to WHO member states and other stakeholders.
