Join us on the 22nd February for the launch of the PAHO virtual campus course entitled: “Clubfoot can be treated: a course for healthcare workers”.
Organized jointly by PAHO and MiracleFeet, the webinar will discuss the status of congenital malformations in the Americas, and the actions we can take to prevent and reduce the associated disability. Using the example of Paraguay, we will present clubfoot as one example of a birth impairment that can be fully treated when robust early detection and referral meet a trained and motivated workforce.
Presented in both Spanish and English, the webinar promises to raise awareness and stimulate discussion on ways to increase the availability of treatment to prevent disability caused by one the most common physical birth impairments.
