Uruguay (Update)

On 28 March 2024, the Uruguay National Emergency System (SINAE per its acronym in Spanish) published updated information on the heavy rains affecting the central and southern parts of the country. A total of 5,386 people remain displaced throughout the country (decrease of 29 people since the 27 March report); they are geographically distributed across the departments of Canelones (n=2,526), Durazno (n=2,833), Florida (n=23, decrease of 29), and San Jose (n=4) The report is available from: Sistema Nacional de Emergencias
