COVID-19 Vaccine Pharmacovigilance Dashboard
Objective
To support regulatory processes for the introduction and the monitoring of COVID-19 vaccines safety, consolidating in a single tool information on the various components of the matter.
Components
The dashboard is presented in Spanish and English language, and consists of the following components or sections:
- Number of vaccines that are in the different phases of clinical evaluation, as well as vaccines included in the WHO emergency use list (EUL), and authorized by countries or regions;
- information on each of the authorized vaccines, including: authorization, manufacturing, general characteristics, dosage and administration schedule, indications and contraindications, storage and logistics, clinical studies and effectiveness, pre- and post-authorization safety, monitoring, and references. This information is presented in layers, which allow sequential access to degrees of increasing depth of information;
- additional resources and access to other tools: including the regional vaccination dashboard and the WHO coronavirus dashboard; a repository of manuals, guidelines and documents on regulation and related topics; as well as available training; vaccine safety news and updates;
- methods used in the pharmacovigilance panel for COVID-19 vaccines; and
- glossary of terms.
