virus de la Gripe pandémica (H1N1) 2009		 Puppet Script
 
This puppet play, in Spanish, teaches hand washing, and proper coughing and sneezing techniques to prevent the transmission of the influenza A (H1N1) virus.
 
The street puppet show is 20 minutes in length and takes place at the school where Manuel and Beatriz, puppets made from recyclable materials, attend. The plot develops around Manuel, who appears to have the flu and does not know the proper techniques for sneezing, coughing, or hand washing. This show had its first debut in Argentina.
 
Objectives:
  1. Teach adequate hand washing, coughing and sneezing techniques to prevent transmission of influenza A (H1N1)
 
Targeted audience:  School children 6-10 years old, educators, and parents
