Implementing universal access to health and universal health coverage in the region will be strengthened through interconnected and interoperable health-related information systems that assure effective and efficient access to quality data, strategic information and ICT tools for decision making and wellbeing.
IS4H GOAL
To implement a better decision and policy making mechanism through health-related information systems that ensure universal, free and timely access to data and strategic information using the most cost-effective ICT tools.

MODELO DE MADUREZ
La herramienta de evaluación de la madurez de los sistemas de información para la salud (IS4H-MM) describe el método, la herramienta y las preguntas para evaluar la capacidad organizativa relacionada con la gobernabilidad, la gestión de datos, la transformación digital, la innovación y la gestión del conocimiento. El IS4H-MM es parte del Plan de IS4H para una implementación exitosa, y está organizado de acuerdo con los 4 objetivos estratégicos del Marco conceptual de IS4H.
El IS4H-MM también es un marco de referencia que guía a los Sistemas de Información para la Salud para seguir por el camino cambiante de la revolución de la información y el conocimiento, y cómo los países y las organizaciones pueden crecer en capacidades para operar, interactuar y beneficiarse de ellos.
