The new vision of the Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature, 'Healthy Curaçao' emphasizes that citizens have the same opportunity to participate and contribute to a healthy and safe environment. For this new approach, from a cure-oriented medical care to a more proactive and wellness-oriented approach to maintaining health and quality of life, the Ministry of Health asked PAHO / WHO to provide technical assistance to strengthen its System National Information. For its part, the PAHO / WHO Health Information Systems and Platforms Unit carried out an assessment of the current state of the country's health information systems, using PAHO's IS4H maturity model evaluation methodology.
