Guatemala (Update)

On 31 October 2023, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) published an update on the rainy season in the country. There have been 1,172 severe rain incidents reported nationally (30 increase since the 27 October report). At least 3,934,900 people were affected (36,761 increase), 44,638 people were attended to (1,000 increase), 21,089 people were evacuated (307 increase), 14,685 (15 increase) people are considered at risk, and 979 people are being sheltered (18 increase).
