Bolivia (Update)
On 11 March 2024, the Bolivia Ministry of Defense announced the launch of an emergency plan for the municipality of La Paz in response to heavy rains. The government will deploy machinery and technical personnel to support the affected areas for a duration of 60 days. Media is reporting the La Paz municipal government has declared an emergency due to the heavy rains. In addition, the Bolivia Ministry of Health has reported that over 3,000 medical assistance was provided in the communities affected by flooding and landslides.
