Peru (Update)

On 13 April 2023, the Peru Civil Protection (INDECI per its acronym in Spanish), published updated information on the heavy rains affecting the departments of Lambayeque, Ucayali, Áncash, and Pasco.  

·       In the department of Lambayeque, there were 49,324 people affected (an increase of 588 since the 10 April report). There were 14,272 homes affected (232 increase) and 5,763 destroyed (92 increase). 

·       In the department of Ucayali, there were 7,681 people affected (an increase of 6,028 since the 31 March report). There were 2,414 homes affected (1,690 increase) and 447 destroyed (205 increase).

·       In the department of Áncash, there were 13,753 people affected (an increase of 2,011 since the 11 April report). There were 4,697 homes affected (759 increase) and 995 were destroyed (397 increase).

·       In the department of Pasco, there were 796 people affected. There were 143 homes affected and 28 destroyed.
