United States of America (Update)  

On 19 August, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provided an update to the Dixie, Monument, and Caldor fires currently occurring in California. The Dixie Fire has burned 662,647 acres and is 35% contained. In total, there has been a mandatory evacuation for 29,416 people. There are currently 15,967 homes that are threatened by the fire, 64 have been damaged, and 665 have been destroyed. In Trinity, California, the Monument Fire has burned 128,613 acres and is 10% contained. There are currently mandatory evacuations in effect for 5,524 people. There are 7,000 homes that have been threatened by the fire, one home that has been damaged, and 11 homes that have been destroyed. The Caldor Fire in El Dorado, California, has burned 62,586 acres and is 0% contained. In total, 42,048 people are under mandatory evacuation orders, 5,887 homes are threatened, and no houses have been damaged or destroyed. The report is available at: FEMA.
