Mexico (Update)

On 26 October 2023, the Mexican Government published an update regarding the passing of hurricane Otis through the State of Guerrero, Mexico. A total of 27 deaths have been reported and 4 people are missing. Due to damage sustained at the General Hospital No.1 Vicente Guerrero, at least 200 patients have been relocated to other medical centers. In addition, 100 people were evacuated in the municipality of Ajuchitlán, Guerrero. Additionally, the Mexican government issued an emergency declaration for the state of Guerrero due to heavy rain and strong winds. Federal government agencies join efforts to aid the affected communities in Acapulco, Guerrero.
