On 28 November 2023, the Peru Civil Protection (INDECI per its acronym in Spanish) published information on the heavy rains in the province of Huancayo, department of Junín. According to the information, in the district of Huancayo 90 people and 40 homes were affected, and 5 homes were destroyed. In the district of Chilca,78 people were affected and 23 homes were affected, and 14 homes were destroyed. The report is available from: INDECI
